William Armstrong (cricketer)

William Armstrong (born circa 1860s, died unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire in 1884.

Armstrong made his debut for Derbyshire in August 1884 against Lancashire, when he scored 4 runs in each innings. He played one further match in the same month against Kent, scoring 3 runs and a duck. Armstrong was a right-handed batsman and played 2 matches for Derbyshire with 4 innings and a top score of 4, giving an average of 1.75.
