Walter Lynch (bishop)

Walter Lynch (died 1663) was an Irish Roman Catholic bishop. He served as Bishop of Clonfert from 1647 until his death.

Born in Galway, he was appointed Bishop of Clonfert on 22 July 1647, during a turbulent period in Irish history marked by the Irish Confederate Wars. Details of his episcopate are scarce, likely due to the political instability and religious persecution prevalent at the time. He died in 1663.
