Kevin Barry (writer)

Kevin Barry (born 1969) is an Irish novelist, short story writer, and playwright. He is known for his distinctive, lyrical prose style, often employing a blend of vernacular language and heightened poetic imagery. His work frequently explores themes of violence, alienation, and the dark underbelly of contemporary Irish society.

Barry was born in Limerick, Ireland, and currently resides in County Sligo.
