Victor Crowley (film)

Victor Crowley is a 2017 American slasher film written and directed by Adam Green. It is the fourth installment in the Hatchet film series. Set ten years after the events of Hatchet III, the film brings back the titular antagonist, Victor Crowley, a deformed man who haunts the Louisiana swamps.

The plot revolves around Andrew Yong, the only survivor of the 2007 Honey Island Swamp Massacre, who is forced to return to the swamp when a plane crash unearths Victor Crowley and reignites his killing spree. Yong, now a discredited figure accused of the murders from the original Hatchet film, must confront Crowley once more to clear his name and survive the night.

The film stars Kane Hodder as Victor Crowley, Parry Shen as Andrew Yong, Laura Ortiz, Dave Sheridan, and Brian Quinn. It was secretly filmed over a period of two years and premiered at a surprise screening at the Arclight Hollywood on August 22, 2017.
