Varaldsøy

Varaldsøy is an island located in Kvinnherad municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is situated in the Hardangerfjord, and lies between the islands of Stord and Fjelbergøya.

Historically, Varaldsøy was a separate municipality from 1838 until 1965, when it was merged into Kvinnherad. The island is primarily agricultural, with farming and fishing being important industries. The highest point on the island is Veten.

The island has a ferry connection to the mainland. The primary settlement on the island shares the name Varaldsøy. The historical Varaldsøy Church is located on the island.
