Hole-In-One Golf (1986 video game)
Hole-In-One Golf is a golf video game released in 1986 for the Nintendo Family Computer (Famicom) in Japan. It was developed and published by HAL Laboratory.
The game features a top-down perspective and allows players to select clubs, adjust swing power, and account for wind conditions. The objective, as in real golf, is to complete each hole with the fewest strokes possible. While retaining standard golf gameplay mechanics, the game lacked some of the detailed graphical fidelity of later golf titles.
Hole-In-One Golf was one of the earlier golf games for the Famicom. It provided a relatively simple, accessible golfing experience compared to later, more complex simulations. It contributed to the growing popularity of golf video games on home consoles in the mid-1980s.
