Trixter (album)
Trixter is the debut studio album by the American glam metal band Trixter, released in 1990 on MCA Records. The album produced three singles: "Give It to Me Good," "Surrender," and "One in a Million." The album reached No. 28 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA.
The album showcases Trixter's signature blend of catchy melodies, hard rock riffs, and strong vocal harmonies. It is considered a classic of the late 1980s/early 1990s glam metal scene, even though it was released as the genre was starting to decline in popularity. The songs generally deal with themes of love, partying, and having a good time.
The band consisted of Peter "Pete" Loran (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Steve Brown (lead guitar, backing vocals), P.J. Farley (bass, backing vocals), and Mark "Gus" Scott (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Trixter was produced by Beau Hill.
