Gear (magazine)
Gear was a men's lifestyle magazine published by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. from 1998 to 2003. It was known for its provocative covers and content, often featuring semi-nude or scantily clad models and celebrity interviews. The magazine targeted a younger male demographic with a focus on sex, cars, technology, fashion, and humor. Its editor-in-chief was James DiClimente. While Gear achieved moderate success, it ultimately folded due to declining advertising revenue and a crowded market.
