Liu Peng

Liu Peng was the name of several historical figures in Chinese history:

• Liu Peng (Prince of Yuan of Chu) (楚元王 劉彭, died 179 BC): A member of the Han Dynasty imperial family. He was a son of Liu Jiao, Prince of Yuan of Chu. Upon his father's death, he inherited the title Prince of Chu.

• Liu Peng (Marquis of Cheng) (成侯 劉彭, dates unknown): A Han Dynasty official. Little is definitively known about him.

• Liu Peng (Emperor Gengshi's son) (更始帝之子 劉彭, dates unknown): A son of Emperor Gengshi (Liu Xuan) of the Xuan Han Dynasty, a short-lived dynasty during a period of instability following the Western Han Dynasty. His life after his father's death is largely unrecorded.
