Town Center Mall (Rock Hill)

Town Center Mall was a shopping mall located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It opened in 1986 and was situated off Dave Lyle Boulevard, a major thoroughfare in the city. The mall featured several anchor stores throughout its history, including Belk, Sears, and JCPenney. Over the years, the mall experienced declining occupancy rates, reflecting broader trends in the retail industry. Various attempts were made to revitalize the property, but ultimately, the mall closed in 2010. The site was later redeveloped into a mixed-use development featuring retail, restaurant, and entertainment options, as well as residential housing. The original mall structure was demolished as part of the redevelopment process. The new development retains some elements of the name in its branding.
