Tom Barlow (baseball)
Tom Barlow is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers in 1998 and 1999.
Barlow was drafted by the Tigers in the 14th round of the 1994 MLB draft. Before reaching the majors, he pitched in the minor leagues for several years within the Tigers' farm system.
During his time with the Detroit Tigers, Barlow appeared in a total of 15 games, primarily as a relief pitcher. His MLB career statistics include an earned run average (ERA) above 6.00.
After his brief MLB stint, Barlow continued to play in the minor leagues and independent baseball leagues for a few more seasons before retiring from professional baseball.
