Tim Anderson (baseball)

Tim Anderson (born June 23, 1993) is an American professional baseball shortstop who is currently a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox.

Anderson was drafted by the White Sox in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2016 and quickly established himself as a talented hitter and fielder. In 2019, he won the American League batting title, leading the league with a .335 batting average. He also won the Silver Slugger Award in 2020. Anderson was named to the American League All-Star team in 2021 and 2022.
