Pseudo-penis
A pseudo-penis is a structure in animals that resembles a penis but is not homologous and does not serve the same reproductive function. The term is most commonly used to describe the enlarged clitoris or clitoris-like structure present in some female animals.
In some species, the female pseudo-penis is used in dominance displays or during social interactions. The size and prominence of the pseudo-penis can vary significantly depending on the species. Hormonal influences, particularly androgens, can affect the development and size of the pseudo-penis.
While primarily associated with female animals, the term "pseudo-penis" could theoretically also apply to any non-reproductive structure in a male animal that superficially resembles a penis.
