Triptych (philately)

In philately, a triptych refers to a set of three adhesive postage stamps designed to be displayed, collected, or used together as a single, unified design. The three stamps are intrinsically linked by a common theme, image, or design element that extends across all three stamps. When placed side-by-side, they form a complete picture or cohesive artistic unit.

Triptych stamps are not merely three separate stamps issued at the same time; they are designed as a single visual work. This distinguishes them from simply issuing three stamps with related topics.
