The band's initial lineup consisted of Guido Knollmann (vocals/guitar), Henning Reetz (guitar), Axel Hilgenstiehl (bass), and Jörn Rüter (drums). Thumb gained popularity through extensive touring in Germany and surrounding European countries, building a strong fan base.

- Substance (1997)
