Thomas Palmer (Florida politician)

Thomas Palmer is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 23 from 2010 to 2012, and District 54 from 2012 to 2016. District 54 encompassed parts of Brevard County.

Palmer was born and raised in Titusville, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University. Prior to his legislative service, he worked in the insurance industry.

During his time in the Florida House, Palmer served on various committees, including those related to insurance, education, and transportation. He was known for his conservative stances on fiscal policy and government regulation.

After leaving the Florida House in 2016 due to term limits, Palmer continued to be involved in community and civic activities. He has remained active in the Brevard County Republican Party.
