The X Factor (British TV series) series 12 was the twelfth series of the British television music competition The X Factor, which aired from 29 August to 12 December 2015 on ITV. The series saw changes to the judging panel, with Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora replacing Louis Walsh and Mel B. Simon Cowell remained as a judge, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini returned for her fifth series.
Olly Murs and Caroline Flack replaced Dermot O'Leary as the show's presenters.
The winner of the series was Louisa Johnson, mentored by Rita Ora, making her the youngest winner of the show at the time. Reggie 'n' Bollie finished as runners-up, mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Che Chesterman finished in third place, mentored by Nick Grimshaw.
