The Farm (album)
The Farm is the eleventh studio album by American rock band Dinosaur Jr., released on June 23, 2009, by Jagjaguwar. It marks the first album to feature the band's original lineup of J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph since 1988's Bug. The album's title is a reference to the farm where Mascis grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts, and where the band rehearsed. The Farm was generally well-received by critics, who praised its return to form and the strength of its songwriting. It reached number 29 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, making it their highest-charting album since Green Mind in 1991. The album spawned singles such as "Over It" and "Said and Done."
