Lange (crater)
Lange is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the south of the Mare Ingenii, and to the northeast of the larger crater Oresme.
This crater is roughly circular, with a slightly eroded outer rim. Small impact craters lie along the southeast and southwest edges, and a still smaller craterlet is attached to the exterior along the north-northeast. The interior floor is relatively featureless, with only a few tiny craterlets marking the surface.
Lange is named after the German physicist Paul Lange.
