Synopsis
The film follows Francis, a disaffected young man, who is summoned to the secluded home of his estranged childhood friend, JP Licks, a wealthy and increasingly isolated composer. JP suffers from a mysterious ailment, characterized by paranoia and an inability to eat. As Francis attempts to help JP, he becomes entangled in the strange and unsettling atmosphere of the house, blurring the lines between reality and hallucination. JP's condition worsens, and the presence of a masked woman adds to the growing sense of dread and psychological unease. Francis begins to question his own sanity as he tries to understand the root of JP's suffering and the secrets hidden within the Usher family history.
