Tammy Miller (politician)

Tammy Miller is an American businesswoman and politician from North Dakota. She currently serves as the 39th Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota, having been appointed to the position by Governor Doug Burgum in 2023.

Prior to entering politics, Miller had a long and successful career in the private sector, primarily in the technology and manufacturing industries. She served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Dakota Supply Group and has held various leadership positions in other companies.

Miller's appointment as Lieutenant Governor followed the resignation of former Lieutenant Governor Kristen Baesler. As Lieutenant Governor, she presides over the North Dakota Senate and assumes the duties of the governor in their absence. She also often participates in economic development initiatives and represents the state at various events.
