Thalia (Swedish magazine)
Thalia was a Swedish literary and theatrical magazine published between 1862 and 1864. Edited by Carl Snoilsky and Albert Bonnier, it aimed to introduce contemporary European literature and drama to a Swedish audience. The magazine featured original works by Swedish authors, as well as translations of important foreign plays and literary pieces. Although its run was relatively short, Thalia played a significant role in promoting intellectual and artistic exchange in Sweden during the mid-19th century and is considered an important cultural publication of its time.
