St Andrew's (stadium)

St Andrew's is a football stadium located in the Bordesley district of Birmingham, England. It is the home ground of Birmingham City Football Club. Opened in 1906, it has a current capacity of approximately 29,409.

The stadium has four main stands: the Tilton Road Stand, the Kop Stand, the Main Stand, and the Gil Merrick Stand (formerly the Railway Stand). Over the years, St Andrew's has undergone several renovations and improvements, including the installation of floodlights and various seating upgrades.

St Andrew's has also hosted other sporting events, including boxing matches and rugby league games. In addition, it has been used as a venue for concerts.

The stadium is named after St Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland, reflecting the Scottish origins of some of the club's founders.
