Solarolo

Solarolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ravenna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 50 kilometers (31 miles) southeast of Bologna and about 35 kilometers (22 miles) southwest of Ravenna.

Solarolo borders the following municipalities: Bagnara di Romagna, Castel Bolognese, Cotignola, Faenza, Imola. It is primarily an agricultural area known for its fruit production, particularly peaches and apricots. The town's history dates back to Roman times, though its modern form developed during the medieval period. Key landmarks include the parish church and the remnants of the old castle.
