Smile.dk
Smile.dk is a Swedish Eurodance music group formed in 1998. Initially consisting of Veronica Larsson and Nina Boquist, they are known for their upbeat, bubblegum pop style and primarily Japanese-influenced themes. They gained international recognition with their song "Butterfly," featured prominently in the Konami arcade game Dance Dance Revolution and subsequent related media. The group has undergone several lineup changes since its formation. Following Nina Boquist's departure in 2000, Malin Kernby joined Veronica Larsson. In 2005, both Larsson and Kernby left the group. The name Smile.dk was then taken up by Hanna Stockzell and Johanna Grahn. Currently, the group consists of Veronica Larsson and Cecilia Reiskog, continuing to perform and release music. Their music is characterized by fast tempos, catchy melodies, and often incorporates elements of J-pop and anime themes.
