Shayne Smith (footballer)

Shayne Smith is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by West Coast with pick #51 in the 2002 AFL Draft. Smith played primarily as a defender and was known for his strong marking and contested ball skills.

Smith made his AFL debut in 2004 and played 20 games for the Eagles over three seasons. He was delisted by West Coast at the end of the 2006 season.

Following his AFL career, Smith played in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) for East Perth.
