Shawn Smith (American football)

Shawn Smith is a former American football wide receiver and return specialist. He played college football at McNeese State University.

While undrafted out of college, Smith had a professional career that included time in the National Football League (NFL). He played for several teams, including but not limited to the Cleveland Browns and the New Orleans Saints. Known primarily for his speed and agility, Smith contributed mostly on special teams as a kick and punt returner, though he also saw limited action as a receiver.
