Connor Jones (ice hockey)
Connor Jones (born October 25, 1990) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He primarily played centre.
Playing Career:
Jones played junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Vernon Vipers, where he was a key contributor to their successful teams. He was a two-time BCHL champion (2009, 2010) and won the RBC Cup, the national Junior A championship, in 2009 and 2010. During his time with Vernon, he played alongside his twin brother, Kellen Jones.
Following his junior career, Jones attended Quinnipiac University, where he played NCAA Division I hockey for the Bobcats in the ECAC Hockey conference. He enjoyed a successful collegiate career, contributing consistently to the team's offense.
Jones turned professional in 2014 and played in the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL. He primarily played for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) and the Stockton Thunder/Adirondack Thunder (ECHL). He also had stints with other teams throughout his professional career.
Personal Life:
Connor Jones is the twin brother of fellow ice hockey player Kellen Jones. He and Kellen frequently played on the same teams throughout their junior and professional careers.
