Sayalgudi
Sayalgudi is a town panchayat located in the Ramanathapuram district of the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated on National Highway 49 (Madurai - Rameswaram) and is approximately 45 kilometers from Ramanathapuram and 60 kilometers from Madurai.
The town is known for agriculture, primarily paddy cultivation, due to the presence of irrigation tanks and canals fed by the Vaigai River system. Other crops include pulses, coconut, and vegetables.
