Wonderworld (album)

Wonderworld is the second studio album by the British alternative rock band, Sleeper. It was released in 1995 on Indolent Records. The album spawned four singles: "Vegas", "What Do I Do Now?", "Nice Guy Eddie" and "Statuesque". Wonderworld built upon the success of Sleeper's debut album, Smart, achieving greater commercial success and critical acclaim. Musically, Wonderworld expanded Sleeper's sound, incorporating elements of Britpop and power pop, while maintaining the band's distinctive indie rock edge. Lyrically, the album explores themes of love, relationships, and everyday life. Wonderworld reached number 2 in the UK Albums Chart and was certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
