Double Up (American game show)

Double Up was an American game show that aired briefly on NBC from January 3 to June 24, 1955. It was hosted by Jim E. O'Brien.

The premise of Double Up revolved around contestants answering general knowledge questions. Correct answers earned them points, and a certain number of points allowed them to advance to bonus rounds. The "Double Up" element of the title referred to the ability for contestants to potentially double their winnings by correctly answering more difficult questions, usually with the option to stop and keep their current total.
