Sancaktepe (Istanbul Metro)

Sancaktepe is a station on the M5 (Üsküdar–Çekmeköy) line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in Sancaktepe district of Istanbul, Turkey.

The station was opened on 21 October 2018, as part of the second section of the M5 line, from Yamanevler to Çekmeköy. It serves the predominantly residential areas of Sancaktepe.

The station is underground and features island platforms. Transfers are available to IETT city buses at street level. The station provides access to various local amenities and residential areas within Sancaktepe. The M5 line is fully automated and driverless.
