Samir (footballer, born 1994)

Samir (footballer, born 1994) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Samir began his career with Flamengo, progressing through their youth ranks before making his professional debut. During his time at Flamengo, he won the Campeonato Carioca.

In January 2016, Samir moved to Italy, signing for Udinese. He became a regular in the Udinese defense, making numerous appearances in Serie A.

In January 2022, Samir transferred to Premier League side Watford. He contributed to their defensive efforts during his time with the club.

Samir has also represented Brazil at the youth international level. He was part of the Brazil squad at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
