Salt (Swedish band)
Salt was a Swedish Christian pop and rock band active primarily from the late 1980s through the 2000s. The band was known for its energetic live performances and its blend of contemporary pop sensibilities with overtly Christian lyrics. Salt achieved considerable popularity within the Christian music scene in Scandinavia and beyond, releasing several albums and touring extensively. The band's music often explored themes of faith, doubt, and personal transformation. Members included, at various times, several musicians although the core lineup generally featured lead vocalist and songwriter Lars Mörlid. The band's style evolved over the years, incorporating elements of rock, pop, and even electronic music. After a period of inactivity, Salt occasionally reunited for special concerts and events.
