Sal Yusuf

Sal Yusuf (born c. 1960s) is a British technology executive and entrepreneur. He is best known as the co-founder of Evi Technologies, a company that developed an artificial intelligence platform specializing in natural language processing and question answering. Evi's technology was subsequently acquired by Amazon in 2012 and formed the basis for the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.

Prior to founding Evi, Yusuf held various technology-focused roles in telecommunications and software development. Following the acquisition of Evi, Yusuf worked at Amazon, contributing to the development and refinement of Alexa.
