SMS Pfeil
The SMS Pfeil (meaning "Arrow" in German) was a torpedo boat of the Blitz class built for the German Imperial Navy (Kaiserliche Marine). She was launched in 1882 and served in the fleet until being stricken from the list in 1906. Like other torpedo boats of her era, she was relatively small, lightly armed, and designed for high speed attacks on larger warships. Her primary armament consisted of torpedoes, though she also carried light guns for defense. Details on her specific service history are limited, but she likely participated in routine naval exercises and patrols during her active service. The Pfeil, along with her sister ships, represented an early stage in the development of German torpedo boat technology and naval strategy in the late 19th century.
