Eugene Palmer (artist)

Eugene Palmer (born 1955) is an American artist known for his paintings and drawings that often depict scenes of everyday life, landscapes, and portraits rendered in a realistic style with elements of social commentary. His work often explores themes of community, family, and the African American experience. Palmer received a BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art. He has exhibited widely, including at the Studio Museum in Harlem and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His art is held in several public and private collections.
