Rock the World (Kick Axe album)

Rock the World is the second studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Kick Axe, released in 1986 on Pasha Records. The album represents a more commercially oriented sound compared to their debut, Vices, incorporating elements of glam metal and arena rock.

The album features ten tracks, including the singles "Rock the World," which received moderate airplay, and "Never Let Go." While Rock the World allowed Kick Axe to reach a wider audience, it also marked a departure from their earlier, heavier sound, leading to mixed reactions from long-time fans. The production was handled by Spencer Proffer, known for his work with Quiet Riot. The album did not achieve significant chart success and is often considered a transitional album in the band's discography.
