Richard Wallace (journalist)

Richard Wallace is a British journalist who has held prominent editorial positions in the UK newspaper industry. He is best known for his tenures as editor of the Daily Mirror and later the Sunday Mirror.

Wallace's career in journalism spanned several decades. He joined the Daily Mirror in the early 1990s, rising through the ranks before being appointed editor in 2004. During his time as editor of the Daily Mirror, the newspaper often focused on celebrity news, human interest stories, and political commentary from a left-leaning perspective.

Wallace stepped down as editor of the Daily Mirror in 2012 and subsequently took on the role of editor of the Sunday Mirror. He remained in this position until 2018.
