Reg Bennett (tennis)

Reginald "Reg" Bennett (1922-2004) was a British tennis player active in the amateur era of the sport, primarily during the 1940s and 1950s. He reached the quarter-finals of the Wimbledon Championships in 1951, losing to eventual champion Dick Savitt. Bennett was known for his consistent baseline game and tenacious play. He represented Great Britain in the Davis Cup on several occasions.
