Ray Ross (footballer, born 1903)
Ray Ross (born 1903, date and place of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a left back.
Ross began his senior career with Dundee, where he played from 1923 to 1926. He made a significant number of appearances for the club in the Scottish League First Division, establishing himself as a reliable defender.
In 1926, he moved south to England and signed for Blackburn Rovers. He played for Blackburn until 1930, featuring regularly in their First Division team. After Blackburn Rovers, he transferred to Preston North End in 1930. His spell at Preston lasted until 1933.
Following his time with Preston North End, Ross joined Southport in 1933, where he completed his professional playing career. Little information is readily available regarding his life after football.
