SightLife

SightLife is a non-profit global health organization focused on eliminating corneal blindness worldwide. Established in 1969, SightLife works in partnership with eye banks, surgeons, and governments to provide corneal tissue for transplantation, train eye bank personnel and surgeons, and advocate for policies that support corneal donation and transplantation.

SightLife operates on a model of creating sustainable eye banking systems in developing countries. Their programs focus on the entire corneal donation and transplantation process, including donor awareness, tissue recovery, processing, storage, and distribution, as well as surgeon training and patient follow-up.
