Central District (Babol County)

The Central District (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بابل) is a district (bakhsh) in Babol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 336,130, in 90,259 families. The Central District has one city: Babol. It also contains three rural districts (dehestans): Esbu Kola Rural District, Feyziyeh Rural District, and Ganj Afruz Rural District.
