Ramona Falls (band)

Ramona Falls is an American indie rock band based in Portland, Oregon. It was formed in 2009 by Brent Knopf following his departure from the band Menomena. The band's sound is characterized by its intricate arrangements, layered instrumentation, and Knopf's distinctive vocals.

Ramona Falls' debut album, Intuit, was released in 2009 to critical acclaim, lauded for its complex song structures and emotional depth. The album explored themes of self-discovery and introspection.

In 2012, the band released their second album, Prophets. This album continued to develop their established sound, incorporating more electronic elements and exploring broader lyrical themes.

Following the release of Prophets, Ramona Falls went on indefinite hiatus. Brent Knopf has since focused on other projects, including his solo work under the name Eluvium.

The band's name, Ramona Falls, is taken from a real waterfall located in the Mount Hood National Forest near Portland, Oregon.
