Leksvik (village)
Leksvik is a village and the former administrative center of the municipality of Indre Fosen in Trøndelag county, Norway. Situated on the Leksvik peninsula, along the Trondheimsfjord, it is located approximately 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) west of Vanvikan and about 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) east of the village of Sannan.
The village has traditionally been a focal point for local trade and services. Following municipal mergers, local government functions have largely shifted to other locations within Indre Fosen. Leksvik remains a residential area and a point of access to the surrounding agricultural landscapes and fjord.
