Rajarhat

Rajarhat is a planned satellite city located in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, India. It is a part of the Kolkata Metropolitan Area. Development of Rajarhat began in the late 1990s with the aim of decongesting Kolkata and providing modern infrastructure and housing options.

Rajarhat is primarily known for its IT parks, residential complexes, and commercial developments. It houses several major IT companies and corporate offices. The area is connected to Kolkata via major roads and the Kolkata Metro.

Key features of Rajarhat include:
