51st–53rd Street (Hyde Park) station

The 51st–53rd Street (Hyde Park) station is a commuter rail station in Chicago, Illinois, serving the Metra Electric Line. It is located at 1400 East 53rd Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood. The station provides access to the commercial district along 53rd Street, as well as residential areas and the University of Chicago campus which lies a few blocks to the west. The station consists of two side platforms serving two tracks. Service is frequent during peak hours, with less frequent service during off-peak hours and on weekends. The station is not wheelchair accessible. The station is one of several serving the Hyde Park neighborhood.
