Punchline (band)
Punchline is an American rock band from Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, formed in 1997. The band is known for their energetic live performances and blend of pop-punk and alternative rock influences.
History:
Punchline was initially formed by Steve Soboslai (vocals/guitar) and Chris Fafalios (drums). Over the years, the band's lineup has seen changes, but Soboslai has remained the consistent core member. The band solidified their lineup with the addition of Greg Campagna (guitar/vocals) and PJ Rasmussen (bass).
The band gained prominence in the early 2000s, building a strong regional following through extensive touring and self-released albums. They signed with Fueled by Ramen records in 2004 and released their breakthrough album, Action. The album solidified their position in the pop-punk scene.
Following Action, Punchline continued to release albums on various labels, including TDR Records and InVogue Records. Their discography includes albums such as Just Say Yes (2006), Delightfully Pleased (2010), So Nice To Meet You (2013), and Lion (2018).
