Fictional Character Biography
Eugene Milton Judd is an adventurer and explorer born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He is centuries old, having extended his lifespan through mystical means. In his youth, Judd was an accomplished soldier of fortune. Seeking to end his restless existence, he sought out the Black Blade of Baghdad, an artifact rumored to grant eternal peace. Instead, he released an ancient evil trapped within the blade, forcing him to repeatedly leap in the path of the freed spirit to contain it within himself. This act condensed his body into its current diminutive form, granting him incredible agility and durability.
Despite his size, Puck is an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant, utilizing his acrobatic skills and enhanced reflexes to overwhelm larger opponents. He possesses a strong moral compass and often acts as the heart and soul of Alpha Flight, providing guidance and levity.
Over the years, Puck has battled numerous supervillains alongside Alpha Flight, including Loki, the Great Beast Tanaraq, and the Plodex. He has also faced personal challenges, such as struggling with the entity trapped within him and grappling with his extended lifespan. He has occasionally left Alpha Flight but always returns to defend Canada and the world.
