Pronoun (musician)
Pronoun is the stage name of Alyse Vellturo, an American indie pop musician. Vellturo began releasing music under the Pronoun moniker in 2016. Characterized by introspective lyrics, layered vocal harmonies, and driving synth-pop instrumentation, Pronoun's music often explores themes of heartbreak, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Vellturo initially gained attention for her self-produced and self-released EP, "Anything Goes," which featured the popular track "Mexican Graffiti." This EP helped establish her signature sound and led to further recognition within the indie music scene. She subsequently signed with Rhyme & Reason Records.
In 2019, Pronoun released her debut full-length album, "i've never met me either," which received positive reviews and expanded her fanbase.
